UI Developer (Mid-Level)
AdJuggler is a leading digital advertising technology company serving several hundred publishers, ad networks, and agencies worldwide. We are expanding our Development team, which builds intuitive web-based work flow and reporting interfaces. Our ideal UI Developer candidate has experience with a software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) provider; knowledge and use of javascript, html5, css, and RoR; familiarity with web platforms and digital advertising technologies; and ability to design delightful user experiences. The role reports to the Lead UI Developer within the Technology team, and works very closely with our Product Management and QA teams. Position is in Falls Church, VA, minutes from Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces (both work flow and reporting) which are intuitive and valuable to our customers.
- Implement user interface designs and modifications as part of an agile dev team.
- Develop unit tests and automated regression tests.
- Deeply understand our product, its users, and their workflows and use cases.
Qualifications
- Strong HTML5, javascript, and ajax experience
- Experience in or interest in learning Ruby-on-Rails, SQL, and data querying
- Experience as a dev on a web-based SaaS application with embedded reporting
- Experience using RESTful web services from javascript
- Experience developing dashboards and other business intelligence front ends
- Preference for knowledge and experience in online advertising
- Desire to work in-office with team in face-paced, entrepreneurial environment
